Thank you to everyone who visited us at the Interior Design Show (IDS) 2026 last week as we officially marked our 25th anniversary. It was an incredible experience to share our vision for the future of custom interior design with Toronto's leading architects, builders, and homeowners.
What were the highlights of the Khayeri Curated Flooring booth at IDS 2026?
At IDS 2026, Khayeri Curated Flooring celebrated its 25th anniversary by unveiling an immersive booth built around the philosophy: "Designed with intent, built to connect". The exhibition featured a striking courtyard arcade inspired by European heritage, anchored by a custom-commissioned floor art installation by artist Max Jamali that defined the heart of the space. Additionally, Khayeri launched a new product innovation called "Within the Grain," a hand-made art inset that embeds a home's construction year directly into the hardwood.
A Courtyard Inspired by European Heritage
Our goal for IDS 2026 was not simply to display luxury European hardwood, but to create a fully realized architectural environment. We designed the booth to represent a shared purpose within a courtyard arcade inspired by European heritage.
The centerpiece of this immersive courtyard embraced a custom commissioned floor art installation by Max Jamali, defining the heart of the space. By blending old-world European architectural elements with stunning, modern artistic integration, we showcased exactly how natural wood flooring serves as the ultimate canvas for exceptional design.

Product Innovation: "Within the Grain" Art Inset
Beyond the overarching architecture of the booth, we were thrilled to present our newest product innovation at IDS 2026: the "Within the Grain" Art Inset.
In Europe, homes were traditionally marked at the threshold with the year of construction, which served as a simple gesture to record when a building began. "Within the Grain" reinterprets this tradition directly through the floor.
Created in collaboration with artist Max Jamali, each hand-made art inset proudly records the building year. By doing so, it transforms that date into a lasting expression of time, memory, and craft, permanently embedded within a custom Khayeri floor.
