Designing for vast, open-concept living spaces requires a delicate balance. If a floor is too uniform, the space can feel cold and commercial. If it is too busy, it disrupts the home's architectural peace.

To solve this, we designed a striking 10-inch wide plank European engineered hardwood floor for the large, sprawling open areas of the estate. As you transition into more intimate pockets of the home, these grand planks meet a matching herringbone pattern.

By keeping both the wide planks and the herringbone in the exact same color tone, we created a completely seamless visual flow across the entire footprint of the house. The deliberate change in pattern adds instant movement, depth, and architectural character to the flooring without breaking the overarching harmony of the home's interior design.
